Update: HTC is going to unveil HTC ONE 10 (HTC M10) Smartphone in an event scheduled to held on April 19. The smartphone will pack a 5.15 inch AMOLED display and will run on Snapdragon 820 processor. Meanwhile 2016 Year started really well with launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5 Smartphone's. Apple is also scheduled to launch iPhone 5SE a 4 inch Smartphone soon. Samsung is also rumoured to be working on Galaxy S7 mini variants which is also going to release in April, 2016.

The HTC One series has been one of my favorite chain of mains in the last couple of years. When the HTC One M7 was announced, I was enamoured with the design, the specs, and yes, I even enjoyed the 4-megapixel UltraPixel camera that most folks despised. I was pretty happy with the main complete, when the marginally bigger and better HTC One M8 was released.

Yet, with the release of the HTC One M9 I found that I, along with many others, were quite underwhelmed with the main. While the specs were on par with what we'd expect to see for the large part, there were still a couple of things missing from the 2015 main that will have made it truly worth noticing.

I've considered that perhaps I just felt underwhelmed by the M9 simply because the Samsung Galaxy S6, a strong rival for the HTC One both in operation and in release dates, had such a big year this year. With the S6's layout change and the addition of the Galaxy S6 Edge, anything released close to the S6 would have had hard competition. At the conclusion of the day the M9 actually was lacking in certain places that are pretty easy to mend.

Which is why I think that when it comes to next year's version, the HTC One M10 (or MX, or whatever they end up calling it) should be fairly easy to tweak to be able to win back the hearts of consumers.

The Camera

First of all, HTC must focus on the camera facet of things. While UltraPixel might have worked for people like me who mostly browse photographs on their telephone, it didn't function well for individuals attempting to crop or enlarge the photographs.

With the M9, HTC chose to swap the UltraPixel camera out on the back of the device for a more conventional 20-megapixel camera. The camera does not feature OIS (optical image stabilization), but instead EIS (electronic image stabilization), which is the same concept as OIS except for EIS stabilizes the image electronically via the software. EIS can decrease the caliber of the picture, although it's a more economical process of reaching a similar effect. Although EIS doesn't bother many people (myself included) it does irritate quite a few with the decrease in image quality. OIS might be a better choice for the following generation HTC One.

Fingerprint Detector

I'm about 98% certain that this is going to be a characteristic in the next HTC One apparatus, especially considering that it is a feature of the HTC One M9 (not accessible the States). I never understood how much I 'd recognize the fingerprint sensor until I had one, but it's really a comfort in knowing that my stuff can not be accessed by anybody aside from me. while I look for a new telephone later on, a fingerprint sensor is going to be a must have feature for me.

Design

The last thing that I'd like to see on the following generation HTC One m10 smartphone is a layout that is different. I am still fairly pleased with the aluminum stuff used to house the HTC One's innards and find it to be superior in both look and feel. Nonetheless, I do believe that the design should be tweaked. You know the designs of the M8 as well as the M9 are not overly dissimilar when one of your own workers mixes up which phone is which in an ad. I think this was probably one of the biggest reasons that consumers weren't exactly jumping with joy over the M9.

Besides that, I believe the HTC One is a genuinely solid apparatus. Nonetheless, competition is intense these days and should you need to be the best of the best you're going to have to nail all important components of the telephone.

Readers, what are your ideas about the HTC One these days? Do you think the M9 was a great upgrade to the M8, or are you really hoping to see more with the next generation? Let us know your ideas in the comments below!
